Major Milestones in 2024

Full Licensing: A Game-Changer for Siam Seaplane

One of our proudest moments this year was obtaining our Air Operator Certificate, a testament to our commitment to operational excellence and safety. This milestone unlocked our ability to offer luxury seaplane and air charter services across Thailand. Nicholas, a key member of the Operations team, shared, “Obtaining the AOC not only validated our commitment to safety and operational excellence but also marked a key milestone in our mission to elevate aviation standards in Thailand.”

‍Introducing Seaplane Services from Phuket to all of Thailand

2024 saw concrete progress toward launching our premium seaplane operations in Phuket to start with, with collaborative efforts involving the government and key stakeholders. Preparations are in full swing for a start in the coming months, connecting travelers to the Andaman’s stunning islands and waterfront destinations, and water landing and take-off sites coming across the entire nation.

Forging Strong Partnerships

This year, we strengthened our collaboration with partners such as InterContinental, delivering unique luxury retreat packages. Other notable alliances included Samujana in Koh Samui, a property celebrated with three Michelin keys this year, as well as The Standard Hua Hin and Mövenpick Asara Resort. Additionally, our partnerships with the renowned Swiss watchmaker CVSTOS and Maserati have enhanced the premium experiences we offer.

Fleet Expansion and Sustainability Initiatives

Order of JEKTA PHA-ZE 100 Aircraft

Sustainability remained a core focus in 2024. We finalized an order for 14 eco-friendly amphibious JEKTA PHA-ZE 100 aircraft, which will further our goal of reducing carbon emissions while expanding our fleet. “We’re looking forward to introducing these innovative aircraft to Southeast Asia,” shared Stuart, from the Business Development team, reflecting on this significant step forward.

Commitment to Eco-Friendly Transport

From fuel-efficient aircraft to operational strategies, we’ve taken measurable steps to align with global sustainability goals, ensuring that luxury travel also supports a greener future.

Community Engagement and Events

Participation in the Asian Sky Forum

This year, our leadership participated in the Asian Sky Forum in Jakarta, engaging with aviation leaders across the region. These conversations highlighted Southeast Asia’s dynamic role in luxury aviation and set the stage for future collaborations.

Expanding to Kanchanaburi and Beyond

Next year, we’re thrilled to bring seaplane operations to Kanchanaburi, offering unparalleled access to its scenic waterfronts and other key destinations across Thailand. “It’s exciting to think of what’s ahead,” said Sirinat, Legal and Government Affairs manager. “We’re bringing seaplane back to Thailand after two decades—it’s history in the making”
